Doctor's murder shocks Pune

Murderous attacks on senior citizens continues in Pune.Vijay R.Ghaisas 68,has become the lastest victim.He was stabbed to death by three persons who entered his two-storey bungalow in Tarate Colony on Prabhat Road's Lane14 on Monday.He was alone at home.He died on the spotHe celebrated his birthday on 8June.His wife Vasanti was in the US visiting their daughter Manali S. Bendre,their son Niranjan lives in Houston,Texas.VithabaiGhotal their domestic help arrived at 9a.m.knocked the front door,when there was no response,she entered the house through the back door,then one of the assailants caught her and forced her inside a bathroom after gagging her.All three then fled the spot.Dr.Ghaisas waswell-known and had at least 15,000 families as patients.
